Hope Rescue Mission
Hope Rescue Mission
Over a century ago, Christian men in our community saw the need for a Christian mission organization that would provide for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men less fortunate than they. So they created Hope Rescue Mission to provide a hand up, not a hand out, for their neighbors-in-need.
Though much has changed since 1894, we still exist for the same basic purpose. Bring Christ and the opportunity for a fresh start to the men who call upon us. The men we serve are so-called homeless, but their needs remain pretty much the same. They still battle with alcoholism and drug addiction, loss of jobs, overwhelming debt, past histories of crime and a general lack of concern and compassion from their fellowman. They still need the help only God and His people can supply.
Today we have various programs for the men who call upon us to assist them in getting their lives back together again. We offer
Supporting Hope Rescue Mission
  • Spiritual training,
  • Basic work skills
  • Financial and life skills education
  • Esteem building through responsibility and accountability.
Most of all we offer a safe and secure environment where they can recover from their pasts, look forward to their futures and hope for a better life in Christ.
We adhere to what Jesus Christ, Himself, told his listeners when He said: "Whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." Matthew 25: 40
